Premiership Rugby and the RFU need to get together and finally resolve the promotion/relegation controversy.
The way things currently stand, Newcastle are relegated and London Irish are heading back to the Premiership, and in 12 months’ time, sure as eggs are eggs, the Falcons will be promoted – let’s cut out the middle-man and abolish relegation as soon as is feasible.
