COLIN Boag reports that ‘the thorny question of promotion and relegation looks likely to be resolved by a twoleg play-off between the Premiership’s bottom team and the Championship winners’.
Unless the two clubs involved had been in receipt of equal funding for the preceding 12 months, that would effectively mean no promotion and relegation. Ring fencing by the back door.
