I AGREE with Jeff Probyn’s points regarding the coaching and selection of the England team over the past 12 months, especially with players being selected out of position.
The rest of the world have been catching up with our style of play, with dramatic results over the last three games in the Championship. We haven’t been playing well and maybe the Lions contingent are drained and need a rest.
Take us back to the World Cup 2015 when Eddie Jones galvanised the Japanese squad with a game plan of strength, commitment, and pace that overwhelmed most of the opposition culminated with that historic win over South Africa.
He is a great coach but needs to change the format by introducing youth, enthusiasm, and pace to give us any chance of winning the World Cup.
Looking forward to the shake up.
