Can Laidlaw really scare New Zeland?

AS a former scrumhalf, I tend to keep an eye on how the 9s are playing at international level. I know that Greig Laidlaw has a reasonable boot and pass, but apart from that, I’ve not seen any else that warrants his invite to the Lions party.
Scoring just four international tries in 56 Tests is not Lions standard scrum-half.
For me, he offers nothing from an attacking point of view from the base of the scrum or ruck, it’s ball to hand to the first receiver!
Scrum-halves are snipers, unpredictable, a pain in the backside. The Kiwi back row will have him sussed.
