Cash strapped Warriors forced to withdraw

WORCESTER Warriors have withdrawn from this season’s Women’s Premiership and Allianz Cup with immediate effect.
The men’s team went into administration in September 2022 but the women’s side secured independent funding in January to enable them to carry on in the newly rebranded topflight. Warriors finished sixth in last season’s Premier 15s after agreeing a sponsorship deal with Cube International in May.
