Death of the scrum is a long way off

DESPITE the best efforts of World Rugby, the non-governing governing body, the scrum refuses to go away. In fact, it is digging in its heels far more effectively than many of those Wallaby packs of the “one, two, three…pull” variety – an anti-scrum strategy that has badly undermined Australia’s place in the union code’s grand scheme of things.
