Three-time tourist Tadhg Furlong revealed his first Lions experience turned him into a proper rugby player and has told squad rookies it will do the same for them.
The prop was on the epic 2017 trip to New Zealand, and the Covid-ruined horror show four years later and, in rugby terms, it was the Kiwi tour eight years ago that made him grow up.
Maro Itoje, Furlong and now Owen Farrell, who also toured Australia in 2013, are the only players down under now who played under Sam Warburton then.
