Leicester v T’finders Today. 3pm
LEICESTER welcome back several Test players as they search for their first win of the season.
England hooker Amy Cokayne, Canada‘s Claire Gallagher and USA‘s EmIly Henrich start, while fellow internationals Eva Donaldson, Francesca Mc-Ghie and Tess Feury line up after appearing off the bench last time out in the 31-17 defeat to Harlequins.
Head coach Tom Hudson said: “Our goals over these last two weeks have been about thriving under pressure: both how we acknowledge that pressure and how we deal with it in an effective manner. We know we have world class talent across this side and it’s a case of bringing everything together. It will come.
“We were happy with large parts of our opener against Gloucester–Hartpury, but the result against Harlequins was not good enough. Standards on field have to improve which has led to the most competitive week of training I’ve seen in my time here.”
