Jacques Burger has extended his contract with Saracens.
The Namibian captain is raring to return to action following his recovery from a long-term knee injury sustained at the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand.
After a 14-month spell on the sidelines, the powerful back row is targeting the LV=Cup semi-final at Sale in three weeks to make his long awaited comeback.
Saracens Director of Rugby Mark McCall said: “Jacques personifies the spirit and physicality of our pack, and we can’t wait to see him back in action, doing what he does best.”
