WORLD Rugby’s suggestion that Ireland and Italy take their Six Nations fixture trans-Atlantic fell on predictably deaf ears in Dublin and Rome. A shame because Chicago, almost as bountiful a stamping ground for recent Irish teams as it used to be for Al Capone, would have been the perfect place to mark the 80th anniversary of the mobster’s death in January 1947.
