Burns lands Tigers role

FREDDIE Burns has returned to Leicester Tigers as kicking coach.
The 36-year-old recently retired from a glittering playing career which took in spells at Gloucester, Bath and Leicester, where he slotted a last-minute drop-goal against Saracens to seal Tigers’ 2022 Premiership title at Twickenham.

The flyhalf, right, who won five caps for England, had two stints with Tigers amid spells in New Zealand, Japan and Romania where he was player-coach with Dinamo Bucuresti lastseason.
