Wates needs to take charge

IN the wake of the RFU Board’s resounding SGM defeat 10 days ago, following its attempt to shunt the democratic rights of the member clubs of the English union into the sidings, the leaders of the Whole Game Union (WGU) have asked formally for a meeting with the RFU Board chair, Sir James Wates.
