LANCASHIRE beat Yorkshire 50-49 in the first Mixed Ability Rugby Counties fixture for the TRYIT Trophy last weekend.
Benny Evans, captain Spencer Rowbotham, Leo Hope, Dominik Hargreaves, Ryan Waters, Elias Price and Evans Ojuruwa scored for Lancashire.
Yorkshire fought back from 35-7 down to lead 49-45 before a late maul try by Elias settled it. Ojuruwa was named Lancashire’s player of the match, with Leon Taylor taking the award for Yorkshire.
