I’ve got the minerals for the Sales Sharks job, insists Alex Sanderson following criticism

 

Alex Sanderson is in no doubt that he is the right man to turn the tide at Sale.
The Sharks were thrashed 85-19 at home by Saracens last Sunday, conceding 13 tries on route to their 10th defeat in 13 league matches this season to remain seventh, 25 points off the playoffs.
“When criticism is levelled at you, as it has been, I don’t reflect on whether I’ve got the minerals, because I know I have,” said Sanderson.
“Actually, if anything, it has motivated me more to reward or give back to those who believe and to prove the doubters wrong."
