How often have our wingers got a pass? All they do is chase kicks. They got away with it for 12 games (mostly unthrilling victories) but the opposition have sussed it now.
There is a time and a place for kicking the ball away preferably into touch when defending in your own 22 then compete at the lineout. But England kick it in every part of the pitch. They seem incapable, or do not have the confidence or bottle to run the ball through the hands like all other Test teams.
Consider clubs like Northampton, Bath or Bristol with foreign coaches. Any of the coaches of these teams could do a better job than Steve Borthwick.
