Ampthill are gunning for strong finish, says Rylands

AMPTHILL flanker Charles Rylands believes a lack of game management has cost his side dearly this season, insisting their lowly league position does not reflect recent performances.
The Bedfordshire outfit sat 11th in the Champ table heading into this weekend and Rylands admits their position is frustrating given how competitive they have been.
Dave Ward joined as Ampthill’s head coach this season, replacing Paul Turner, and Rylands praises his new boss but recognises that the team are going through a transitional phase.
