But the former skipper says Steve Borthwick’s men must go back to learning the basic skills to avoid a first-ever defeat to Italy.
Dallaglio said: “The biggest worry for me is that we seem to have forgotten that Test rugby is about players doing their primary jobs.
“Hookers throw the ball in, wings jump and catch the ball, and locks maul. We have forgotten some of the basic principles of playing rugby.
