Ed Slater says he is honoured that “two absolute legends” of the sport will go head-to-head in a team cycle race to raise funds for those living with motor neurone disease (MND).

The Race to the Slater Cup teams will be captained by England legends Martin Johnson (Leicester Tigers) and Mike Tindall (Gloucester) and made up of former players from both sides, who will race approximately 45 miles from their respective home stadiums (Kingsholm and Welford Road) to Villa Park.
