Swedish hitman making a big impact at Leicester

EIGHT years ago Ale Loman had hardly heard of rugby but he recently made his Prem debut in the East Midlands derby for Leicester Tigers against Northampton Saints.
His topflight bow represents a stunning rise for the 25-year-old tight-head prop who has taken the unconventional route to professional rugby. It all started in the university town of Lund in southern Sweden when Loman, at the age of 17, was convinced to go and play for local club side, Lugi Lions.
