England No.8 Tom Willis will leave Saracens for France at the end of the season in a seismic blow to Steve Borthwick’s plans.

Willis, 26, will join his brother, Toulouse flanker Jack, in the Top 14, despite appearing to make the No.8 England shirt his own following a barnstorming summer tour of Argentina.
The eight-time capped forward’s move is a setback to Borthwick, considering his lack of clear options at the back of the scrum, with Ben Earl, an openside flanker by trade, largely playing there during Borthwick’s tenure.
