James O’Connor is eager to show Prem fans the best version of himself after failing to hit peak form in two previous stints in the league.
The 35-year-old, who signed for Leicester Tigers this summer, played for London Irish in 2013 - after a string of off-field incidents prompted the Australian Rugby Union to terminate his contract - and Sale for two seasons from 2017.
With stints at Queensland Reds and Toulon along the way, O’Connor impressed enough for the Crusaders last season in Super Rugby Pacific to earn a Wallaby comeback after three years in the international wildern...
