Ollie Chessum spent a year with Michael Cheika at Leicester and reckons the Australian is the main reason he has been a Lion down under.
Cheika took over at Tigers last summer with the club in a mess but dragged them to the Premiership final before saying his goodbyes and heading home.
But the head coach left a lasting impression on England lock Chessum, Leicester’s only Lion this time around, who became a Test starter yesterday in Melbourne.
