British and Irish Lions: Andy Farrell’s happy to bump into old rival Gordon Tallis

Lions boss Andy Farrell had a chance encounter with an old rival when he was walking the streets of Brisbane earlier this week and bumped into Gordon Tallis, the legendary Queensland and Kangaroos rugby league star.
Tallis, a second row in league, and now a commentator on the sport had a warning for Farrell ahead of yesterday’s opening Test telling his pal that everyone used to talk about Queensland being underdogs. Farrell added: “He said we never, ever saw it that way. And Australia will be exactly the same.”
