French Column: Mystery surronds Uzair Cassiem’s future

One-time Scarlets and Springbok back row Uzair Cassiem is at the centre of a transfer storm in France.
The 35-year-old knew fairly early on that his services were no longer required at Bayonne, even though he featured in 20 matches this season.
In total, he played 95 games for them in four seasons across the ProD2 and Top 14, scoring 15 tries.
