Exeter Chiefs’ Tommy Wyatt ruled out until 2026 with knee injury

Exeter full-back Tommy Wyatt will not play until 2026 after suffering a serious knee injury which requires surgery and will keep him out for between six to nine months.
The 25-year-old ruptured the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the final game of the season at home to Sale.
Wyatt had only returned from a similar injury in his other knee in November which saw him miss much of 2024.
The versatile back – who can also play wing – scored 10 tries in 19 appearances in all competitions this season.
“Everyone is gutted for Tommy,” director of rugby Rob Baxter said.
