LEICESTERSHIRE booked a semi-final place in the third tier of the Gill Burns Cup after a hard-fought win in Hertfordshire. With Cumbria having defeated the hosts last time out, the visitors knew a point would be enough to see them qualify for the knock-out stages - and they duly delivered.
It was a tight affair at Cobden Hill, with Leicestershire eventually getting over the line late on.
