First things first, congratulations to England’s women’s team for winning yet another Six Nations with some fine displays of attacking rugby and good defensive work.
Having said that, I am sure I am not the only person who would think that it was a foregone conclusion given that England had played France in the three previous final matches with a Grand Slam on offer and won the lot of them.
This made England’s fourth consecutive Grand Slam and their seventh successive championship crown something that has never been achieved in the men’s game.
