Russell did not start any of the Tests with Dan Biggar wearing 10 in each of them.
He didn’t even appear in the first two as the replacement was Owen Farrell!
Russell did not play for a month after injuring his Achilles against the Sharks, but once fit he came off the bench in the third test and made a huge impact for Lions.
