Wild Knights make it three in a row to take charge at the top

SAITAMA Panasonic Wild Knights top the table after clinching their third consecutive victory in Japan’s League One outplaying the Ricoh Black Rams Tokyo 44-17. Junji Sakate and Ryuji Noguchi led the charge in the first half, each scoring two tries, with Shota Horie, who has announced his retirement at the end of this season, scoring after the break. The Black Rams struggled to keep pace, succumbing to their third loss in a row. Toyota Verblitz beat Mitsubishi DynaBoars 54-40 to hand the Dyna-Boars their first loss of the season.
