Penfold’s hat-trick puts Havant in top spot

HAVANT have gone to the top of Pool 4 after a 36- 17 win at Shelford as the two runners-up from the Regional 1 South Central and South East leagues went head-to-head.
Rory Penfold got a sublime hat-trick for the visitors, with Joel Knight dotting down twice and Wes Dugan once, with fly- -half Knight also converting three times.
Fly-half Harvey Taylor scored a try, two conversions and a penalty for Shelford, with openside Ollie Walker also dotting down.
