Ospreys forwards ruled out for rest of the season

and forwards Jac Morgan and Scott Baldwin are set to miss the rest of the season after suffering injuries while on duty.

Hooker Baldwin has had surgery on a pectoral muscle problem, while flanker Morgan faces an ankle operation this week.

Baldwin, 34, was hurt during Wales' victory over in Rome. Morgan, 23, suffered his injury in training ahead of Wales' final Six Nations game against . n Ospreys centre Tiaan Thomas-Wheeler has signed for Japanese side Toyota Shokki Shuttles.

The 23-year-old has played just four times for the Ospreys this season.

The former Wales U20 international has found it difficult to get games ahead of , Owen Watkin and Joe Hawkins and Welsh squad member Kieran Williams.

Wales lock forwards Jake Ball and Cory Hill, and centre Hadleigh Parkes, are currently playing in .

back row Ross Moriarty has also been the subject of transfer speculation but head coach Dai Flanagan is optimistic he will stay with the region.

Wales' four regions have been cleared to begin re-signing players after agreeing new standard form contracts with the Professional Rugby Board.

Dragons have made contract offers to 12 players who are due to become free agents this summer, while others have been told they will not be given deals. “There will be news very soon,” Flanagan said. “We have offered 12 contracts… and haven't had one player say no.”
