NEWCASTLE lock Greg Peterson has been banned for three games, reduceable to two, after his red card for a high tackle on hooker Theo Dan in last weekend’s defeat at Saracens. Peterson, 31, can reduce his suspension by attending a coaching intervention programme workshop. At present he would miss Premiership matches against London Irish and Exeter, and a friendly against Scottish side Ayrshire Bulls.
