Foster rules himself out of All Blacks selection

IAN Foster will not reapply for his job as New Zealand head coach when his contract expires after this year’s World Cup. New Zealand Rugby wants to name a new coach from 2024 within the next six weeks. Foster criticised the governing body for conducting its search in the middle of his RWC preparations. He said: “I felt the best thing for our team was to have this process done after the World Cup... I won’t be reapplying for the job of head coach.”
