OXFORD Quins came out on top in the clash of the league’s top two, winning 46-29 against Maidenhead.
The league’s leading pair both went into the match of the weekend with four wins from four and they put on a highly frantic but always entertaining game of rugby at Braywick Park.
As a result of the victory for visitors Oxford Quins, Maidenhead drop to third in the table while their opponents move one point clear at the summit.
High-flying Wimbledon RFC thumped struggling Royal Wootton Bassett 63-7 to move up to second in the table.
