WORCESTER made it two wins from two in the Allianz Cup after an outstanding second-half performance against defending champions .

The Chiefs raced into an early lead when Maisy Allen crossed the try-line after just two minutes, with Liv McGoverne adding the extras.

Cat McNaney narrowed the lead with a penalty for the Warriors but Chiefs captain Poppy Leitch soon added a second and the hosts looked to be racing towards another win. But in the closing stages of a stop-start half Worcester's co-captain Vicky Laflin ran in for her sides first try.

Exeter again started the second period strongly, with Charlie Willet adding her sides third of the game, however this only inspired the Warriors.

First, Leah Brough narrowed a gap with a penalty before the excellent Charlotte Wright Haley scored after a barnstorming run.

Finding themselves five points behind Worcester pushed for a winner and they levelled when El Febrey scored from a driving maul. Leah Brough held her nerve to slot what proved to be the matchwinning conversion.

Exeter had one last chance but the Warriors turned the ball over and secured a famous win.
