AFTER a chastening defeat at Old Redcliffians last week, Newport bounced back in style with a bonus-point win over Bournville.
Lessons had to be learnt quickly and although this was a long way from a faultless performance, it was a huge improvement.
The visitors had the better of the early exchanges and with Newport down to 14 men within the first ten minutes, they moved 7-0 up, with an Owen Williams try converted by Mitch McGahan.
