One of the most laughable ill-informed clickbait links of a move came early yesterday when a website with no contacts claimed that Harlequins had made Freddie Steward a transfer target.
The same website that rips off this column within minutes of it hitting the newsstands a few weeks ago claimed the England full-back was expected to join Bristol Bears.
Blindside is happy to set the report straight and we understand that there has been no contact between the former Premiership champions and Steward, above, about a possible move when his contract ends next summer.
