Welsh-qualified second row George Nott to swap London Irish for Dragons

Welsh-qualified second row George Nott will swap for at the end of the season.

Born in Bodelwyddan, the 26-year-old has made 59 appearances for the Exiles since signing from in 2019.

Dean Ryan, Director of Dragons Rugby, told the club website: “We're pleased to sign George and bring another Welsh qualified player back home.

“George has made a positive contribution at Sale Sharks and London Irish and is a great fit for the squad we are developing.

“His return to ensures he's in the eye of the national selectors and he is determined to make a big impression with the Dragons.”

A former Under-20 international stands at 6ft 6in and over 18 stone.

“I'm really excited to come back to Wales and join up with the Dragons,” said Nott.

“The Dragons are building a great squad and I'm proud to be a part of it. It's a new challenge for me and I'm eager to get stuck in and contribute.

“That being said, I've loved my time at London Irish and I'm fully committed to helping the team with some silverware before my departure.”
