COURTNEY Lawes set his sights on repelling a fierce Irish assault after leading England to a crucial win over Wales.
The Northampton lock made a triumphant return from the concussion which forced him out of the opening two games of the competition, and led the team from the front as Eddie Jones’ men boosted their title hopes.
Marcus Smith’s boot and Alex Dombrandt’s first Test try sealed a 23-19 victory at Twickenham.
