Reports suggest South Africa set to replace Italy in Six Nations from 2025

South Africa look set to join the Six Nations from 2025 in place of Italy, the Daily Mail have revealed.

Talks are continuing between the Six Nations and the Springboks, with the scheduled 2024 start date being pushed back a year.

In 2021, South African provincial sides joined the United Rugby Championship with Irish, Welsh, Scottish and Italian clubs. Next season, the provinces will further join the European Champions and Challenge cups.
