TOM Curry should have no shortage of helpers, or advice, as England’s embryo captain when he leads the team out to play Italy at the Stadio Olimpico today.
He has two vice-captains alongside him in the starting line-up, the 44-cap Henry Slade in the backline, and the 32-cap Leicester skipper Ellis Genge in the pack. Curry will also have the benefit of being able to consult others in the starting line-up such as Maro Itoje (52 caps), the captain of England’s 2014 World Rugby U20 champions, and hooker Jamie George (62 caps).
