AND finally for this year…a last call to our brilliant rugby playing schools out there. I'm calling time very soon on the school of the week feature which we started during the first lockdown many many moons ago when it was planned to be a 12 part series, which is how long we optimistically thought Covid might take to do its worst and then blow through. Little did we know.
If, however, you feel we have somehow overlooked your school and its glorious rugby heritage, get in contact this very day and I might just be able to manufacture a little extra time –I understand it used to be called Fergie time at Old Trafford – before the final whistle must be sounded.
