LEICESTER Tigers and Exeter Chiefs kept the Premiership flag flying in the Heineken Cup yesterday.
Leicester landed a stunning away win at Top 14 leaders Bordeaux while Chiefs slaughtered thirdplaced Montpellier 42-6.
Tigers director of rugby Steve Borthwick hailed his team’s magnificent 19-16 triumph, saying: “I am proud of the players. Their effort was magnificent. Bordeaux are an absolutely brilliant team with threats all over the park.
