Thornton’s back at Ampthill

GEORGE Thornton has re-joined Ampthill for the remainder of the Championship season.
Loosehead Thornton, 24 (1.89m, 129kg) joins Ampthill from Ayrshire Bulls with whom he won the Scottish Super Six at Murrayfield two weeks ago.
Thornton started his professional career with Wasps Academy and made four appearances for their 1st XV.
While with Wasps, he was on dual registration with Ampthill during the 2017-18 season when he made five appearances and scored four tries in National One.
