JOSH Matavesi is set to complete a move to Japan to join Freddie Burns' former club Shokki Shuttles as The Rugby Paper predicted last month.
Bath have released the Cornish born Fijian international from the rest of his contract to allow him to take up the offer from Kariya City side.
Stuart Hooper, below, had been speaking to the former Exeter Chiefs, Ospreys, Racing Metro and Worcester Warriors utility back about ripping up his contract to free up some funds.
Hooper has plenty of cover for the 30 year-old in the centre and had been looking for a hooker but needed to create some room in the salary cap by letting someone leave before he could move.
