ORRELL are looking to buy back their former ground Edge Hall Road, which they vacated in 2007.
Then Wigan RL owner Dave Whelan’s company bought the site for just over half a million pounds and turned it into the Warriors’ training base.
But the Warriors have since moved into new training facilities at Robin Park and Edge Hall Road, once mockingly called a layby off the M6 by a snooty visiting Harlequins official, is currently laying vacant.
