Richmond 17-34 Nottingham: Williams brace lifts Nottingham off bottom

Nottingham come out on top in the bottom-of-the-table clash at the RAG, with David Williams clinical out wide for the visitors

A DAVID Williams brace and a first-half onslaught saw Nottingham claim their first win of the season as they leapfrogged Richmond in a bottom-of-the-table clash at the Athletic ground.
An early penalty try followed by scores for Williams, George Cox and Aniseko Sio wrapped up the bonus point within the first half.
Richmond did answer back with tries through Jimmy Litchfield and a penalty try of their own but were ultimately outmuscled with Nottingham being deserved winners.
