Zebre star Maxime is honoured for Covid work

MAXIMEMbanda, the Zebre and Italy back row forward, this week received the Cavaliere award – the Italian Order of Merit – for his outstanding work as a volunteer ambulance driver in Parma transporting gravely ill Covid-19 during the height of the emergency in Italy.
The Cavaliere is the highest award available for citizens in Italy and Mbanda was one of 57 individuals to be honoured by president Sergio Mattarella.
