BRAD Shields has warned England’s incumbent back rowers not to get comfortable in their jerseys as he battles back from the bitter disappointment of missing the World Cup.
New Zealander Shields had looked on course to go to Japan before a foot injury cruelly wrecked his dream, since when further setbacks have limited his appearances for Wasps.
Now fully fit again and with fire in his belly, the 28- year-old is determined to prove why England stars Sam Underhill, Tom Curry and Lewis Ludlam cannot rest easy in their beds.
