DEAN Richards says the Championship is a fantastic breeding ground for young talent after Josh Hodge’s England call-up.
The England U20 winger was named as an apprentice in the wider Six Nations squad, the day after marking his senior Falcons debut with a stunning solo try against Carnegie.
“Being in the Championship has been a great development tool for a lot of our youngsters, with the ability to get some more game time,” Richards said.
